5+ years in international licensing or related field, managing LATAM agents/licensees, strong commercial acumen, bilingual Spanish/English, and knowledge of LATAM retail and consumer markets.

GENERAL SUMMARY: We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially focused Regional Licensing Lead to oversee our licensing activities across Latin America. This regional role will be responsible for managing all licensing agents and licensees across LATAM markets, driving new business opportunities, analyzing partner performance, leading financial forecasting, and negotiating commercial partnerships in alignment with the company’s brand and commercial goals. Working closely with the VP of International Licensing, this role will play a critical role in growing brand presence and revenue in the region, acting as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners across Latin America. This role would ideally be East Coast/ US based. The successful candidate will bring deep experience in licensing and account management, with strong operational discipline, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of building successful, scalable partnerships in diverse and complex markets. Location: This position is structured as a workplace hybrid arrangement, allowing employees to work both in the office and remotely to promote work-life balance aligned with Cloudco Entertainment’s policies and procedures. This position is ideally based in Los Angeles, CA; however, we are open to considering other qualified candidates located within the U.S. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Regional Licensing Strategy & Execution • Develop and execute a comprehensive licensing strategy across Latin America aligned with global brand and business objectives. • Lead new business development across the region, identifying and securing best-in-class partners across multiple categories, directly or through local agents. • Oversee and manage all LATAM licensing agents, ensuring alignment, accountability, and delivery of commercial goals. • Provide agents with up-to-date brand materials, strategic guidance, and necessary legal and financial support. Agent & Partner Management • Set and monitor KPIs for each agent and licensed partner to ensure performance is in line with revenue targets. • Conduct regular agent and licensee business reviews, including performance analysis and growth planning. • Support local market expansion and retail penetration by working collaboratively with agents and retailer, supported by the International Retail Development Director. • Guide partners on product development, marketing, and retail planning to ensure brand consistency and commercial impact. Commercial Negotiation & Contract Management • Lead all commercial deal negotiations, ensuring commercially sound and strategically aligned agreements. • Collaborate with legal teams to manage contracts from initiation through to execution and renewal. • Ensure partner compliance with all contractual terms including royalty reporting, product submissions, and marketing obligations. Financial Forecasting & Performance Analysis • Partner with Finance to establish annual budgets, set revenue targets, and manage quarterly forecasting processes. • Monitor actual performance against forecasts and targets, flagging risks and opportunities as needed. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial pipelines, partner reports, and royalty income. • Analyze regional business performance and provide insights to inform strategy and improve results. Market Intelligence & Planning • Conduct ongoing research on consumer, retail, and industry trends within the LATAM region. • Monitor competitor activity and market shifts to inform product, category, and partner strategy. • Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term regional planning and growth opportunities. Key Skills & Experience: • 5+ years’ experience in international licensing, account management, or business development, ideally within consumer products or entertainment. • Proven experience managing multiple agents and licensees across diverse LATAM markets. • Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiation and royalty-based deal structures. • Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese a strong plus). • Deep understanding of Latin American retail and consumer landscapes. • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills. • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or related field. • Experience working with licensors, licensing agents, and retail partners across Latin America. • Ability to travel across the region as required.
