Join Our Wholesome Community! Clinton Hill Community & Early Childhood Center is looking for a dedicated and friendly Part-Time Custodian to keep our space sparkling clean and welcoming! As a vital member of our team, you'll play an essential role in ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our children, staff, and families. Your Key Responsibilities: • Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness throughout classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. • Assist with the setup and breakdown of classrooms for events and activities. • Take ownership of maintaining cleanliness in outdoor play areas and property perimeter. • Monitor and restock supplies in restrooms and common areas as needed. • Report any maintenance concerns or repairs needed to the management promptly. • Help ensure a safe environment by keeping walkways and areas free from hazards. • Be a friendly face in our community, providing support and assistance to children and staff when needed. Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. • Previous custodial or cleaning experience is a plus. • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Ability to follow instructions and work independently. • Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor. • Willingness to collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment. • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending. • Commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for children and families.
