We are seeking a Director of Operations & Business Development to support daily operations, strengthen organizational structure, and drive sustainable growth. This role is ideal for a strong operator who can ensure the business runs smoothly while executing strategic initiatives that honor the legacy on which this company was built. Position Summary The Director of Operations & Business Development will oversee operational workflows, staff coordination, compliance, client relations, and business development initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to step into a leadership role that supports long-term continuity, operational excellence, and growth. You will work closely with ownership to lead the team, maintain high operational standards, and execute initiatives that expand our footprint and revenue streams. Key Responsibilities Operations Management Oversee day-to-day operations across all programs and service lines Ensure compliance with regulatory, auditing, and contractual requirements Monitor financial performance indicators (productivity, utilization, expenses) Implement efficient workflows, SOPs, and quality-assurance procedures Manage vendor relationships, scheduling structures, and operational logistics Support staff and maintain a positive, professional work environment Leadership & Team Oversight Serve as a steady leadership presence supporting staff and morale Coordinate with clinical, administrative, and support teams Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence Business Development & Growth Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams Support expansion planning, new service lines, or new locations Assist with proposal development, contracting opportunities, and strategic initiatives Track KPIs tied to growth, retention, and revenue performance Owner Support & Business Continuity Maintain transparency through regular updates and performance reports Execute strategic priorities and ensure business continuity during transitions Protect company processes, financial health, and mission alignment Qualifications 5+ years of experience in operations, healthcare administration, or program leadership Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or government-contracted services preferred Strong operational management, communication, and leadership skills Demonstrated ability to improve systems, processes, and efficiency Business development or strategic growth experience a plus High integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to mission-driven work Compensation Competitive salary Performance-based bonus structure Benefits package (401k, medical, dental & vision) Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: Hybrid remote in San Antonio, TX 78229
