Job Summary The Data Analyst II, Analytics interacts closely with data team members and business stakeholders across various business domains and is responsible for understanding and documenting business requirements; business intelligence analytics and business KPI’s. This position is required to work with Analytics team and subject matter experts to gather requirements to implement solutions to meet business needs and technology standards. Key databases include EZ-suite databases, and CMS-related databases. EZ-suite databases covers benefits, eligibility, claims, fee schedules, encounter, authorization and grievance & appeal. Functions & Job Responsibilities • Identify and understand business needs during requirements gathering to effectively design, develop, test, and deploy data solutions. • Analyze internal processes and make recommendations for automated workflow processes with eventual implementation. • Design and build data warehouse and reporting layer requirements. • Creation and cataloging of technical documentation of business intelligence solutions. • Performs problem resolution and root cause analysis along with recommending and implementing preventive techniques. • Design, implement and enhance ETL process and reports to support business requirements. • Be responsive and timely with ad-hoc data requests. • Follow privacy policies and HIPAA laws and regulations. • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects related to internal and external customers, team members and management. • Collaborate on other tasks as necessary to contribute to the success of the Clever Care. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications Education And Experience • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Management Information Systems or related-field. • Minimum two (2) years’ experience working in a health care delivery system or a health insurance company with knowledge of Medicare, health care, and managed care. • Three (3) years’ experience with database development. • Three (3) years’ experience writing transactional and analytical reports. • Experience using SSRS and AWS QuickSight a plus. • Citra EZCap, X12 familiarity, database admin background a plus. • Must be local to California/Orange County Skills • Strong organizational skills. • Ability to multitask and problem solve. • Strong oral and written communication skills • Well-organized and detail orientated. • Professional demeanor. • Strong customer service. Pay Range: $80,000 to $94,000 per year Physical & Working Environment. Physical requirements needed to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation: • Must be able to travel when needed or required • Ability to operate a keyboard, mouse, phone and perform repetitive motion (keyboard); writing (note-taking) • Ability to sit for long periods; stand, sit, reach, bend, lift up to fifteen (15) lbs. Ability to express or exchange ideas to impart information to the public and to convey detailed instructions to staff accurately and quickly. Work is performed in an office environment and/or remotely. The job involves frequent contact with staff and public.
