As a Finance Manager, you will be accountable for multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams in various areas of Finance. You will supervise financial analysts and support the growth of Cleveland Clinic’s International & Emerging Market Finance team.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and five to six years of relevant experience, with a preference for a Master's degree and strong healthcare financial acumen. Experience in a large health system and proficiency in Excel and hospital systems is also preferred.

As a Finance Manager on Cleveland Clinic’s International & Emerging Market (CCIEM) Finance team, you will be accountable for at least 1 and support multiple projects in our portfolio. You will work and collaborate with cross-functional teams and independently in many areas of Finance including strategic/financial planning, financial reporting, revenue cycle, pricing, research, etc... This role supports CCIEM growth, providing access to our model of care to more patients around the world. You will supervise and lead financial analysts in support of Finance Leadership to accomplish department objectives. This position is typically remote 4–5 days per week, with occasional on-site work at CCAC, West Creek/Independence OH, or Main Campus. Candidates must reside in or relocate to NE Ohio and be available for in-person meetings, with minimal travel outside the area. A caregiver in this role works remotely from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with flexibility for meetings that may occur outside these hours due to international time zones. Candidates must reside in NE Ohio for onsite meetings at CCAC, Main Campus, or other locations on an ad hoc basis. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Partners with Finance leadership on all financial matters and analyzes CCIEM financials, business plans, and other initiatives. Works with Finance leadership on the outlook and annual budget cycle including budget spreads, budget reconciliation, capital budgets, business plans and any other budget-related responsibilities. Identifies benchmarks in financial performance, hospital throughput, cost per case, length of stay and productivity metrics. Assists in preparation of financial presentations as necessary to review operating performance and present findings to Finance and CCIEM leadership. Assist in developing financial strategic business plans and may lead certain aspects of the plans. Works with the Finance leadership to prepare business review meetings and provide analysis and interpretation of business plans. Supports new staff recruitment, variance analyses, and leads review meetings. Works with the revenue cycle staff to ensure maximum reimbursement and adherence to revenue cycle related policies. Analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions. Enhances CCIEM Finance and Cleveland Clinic reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests. Enforces policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor's degree Five to six years of professional and functionally relevant experience, inclusive of demonstrated project or people leadership. In lieu of a degree, extensive experience and or certifications may be considered.
