As Department Analyst II - Value Based, you will function as a primary resource for operating units regarding the data collection and evaluating operational resources, services, programs, systems, budgets and procedures. This position involves creating structured rules or SQL code development, assessing PCP attributions in claim data, providing business logic for report generation and similar tasks. On this team, you have a flexible schedule and the opportunity to implement new plans as you progress and succeed in your role. This is a remote opportunity for candidates who reside in NE Ohio only. Will be required to attend onsite quarterly meetings. A caregiver in this position works days, 7:30am—4:30pm or 8:00am—5:00pm. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Analyze and evaluate operational and financial functions of administrative and operational units. Analyze departmental resources, services, systems, budgets, and programs and prepare reports based on analysis. Conduct comprehensive statistical analysis and evaluation of unit services and performance. Identify program or service strengths, weaknesses, and financial impact and identify opportunities for service and program improvement. Develop special reports and recommendations. Provide input in the development of operational plans, procedures and systems. Review and evaluate current procedures and systems and develop recommendations for improvements. Maintain awareness of and comply with various regulatory guidelines (JCAHO, FDA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.). Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field required. Two years of statistical analysis experience required. A High School diploma/GED and six years of experience may substitute the work experience and education requirements. An Associate’s degree and four years of experience may substitute the work experience and education requirements.
