About the Role A seed-stage identity verification fintech startup is looking for an early Senior Engineer to help build a fast-lane user onboarding experience. You'll be a key contributor to a product that cuts signup time to under 10 seconds — driving conversion improvements across fintech, healthcare, and consumer applications. You'll own the product end-to-end: from data integrations with telcos and banks, to fraud-signal processing at the edge, to a consent-first user experience. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role on a small, fast-moving team. No visa sponsorship is available. Candidates must be US-based or authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. What You'll Do Own end-to-end onboarding features, from backend data pipelines to frontend user experiences. Build fast, reliable, production-first systems with a focus on speed, clarity, and correctness. Instrument, monitor, and iterate on performance and reliability across the full stack. Collaborate tightly within a small team with short feedback loops and a prod-first mindset. Ship production-grade software and actively contribute to product decisions. What We're Looking For Required: 2+ years of experience shipping production-grade software in a fast-paced startup environment. Proficiency with AWS, Node.js, React, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Experience owning end-to-end features spanning backend data pipelines and frontend user experiences. Strong computer science fundamentals. Must be US-based or authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (hard requirement). Nice to Have: Industry experience in fintech, healthcare, or consumer apps. Background working with identity verification, KYC/AML, or fraud prevention systems. Familiarity with telco or banking data integrations. Location Fully remote — US-based candidates only.
