Clearstaff In Villa Park is in need of Slitter Operators for a customer located in Carol Stream, IL, customer manufactures flexible packing film . Schedule: • 2nd shift: 1:45PM-10PM Monday to Friday @ $20.00/hr (You must be able to train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks. During that time frame of training you we be paid at $19.00/hr) Job Description for Slitter Operator: • works in a manufacturing environment, operating machinery to cut large rolls or sheets of material, such as metal, plastic, cardboard, or foam, into narrower, custom-sized strips. • Their responsibilities include loading materials • setting up • maintaining the slitting machine, • ensuring cuts meet exact specifications • performing quality checks, and maintaining safety and documentation. • This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, basic math skills, and physical ability, often starting with an apprenticeship and a high school diploma. • This position has no lifting because the slitter has a robotic arm that picks up the master roll from a cart that is easy to push.
