Customer Service Representative & Social Media Coordinator We are a veteran-owned heating oil delivery company seeking a Customer Service Representative with strong social media skills to join our team for the upcoming winter season. This is a full-time, seasonal role (October–May) with the possibility of part-time summer hours. Overtime opportunities may also be available. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and wants the flexibility of having summers off. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the first point of contact for customers placing heating oil delivery orders by phone. • Enter and maintain accurate customer information in our operations software. • Process orders from e-commerce platforms, state/local programs, and nonprofit agencies. • Create delivery tickets and assist with route mapping. • Support accounts receivable and collections. • Promote and upsell customers to our Automatic Delivery Service (with bonus incentives per upgrade). • Manage company social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), creating engaging posts and campaigns. Qualifications: • 2+ years of customer service experience; inside sales experience a plus. • Strong communication skills and a customer-first, positive attitude. • Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure in a busy environment. • Comfortable with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets). • Proficient in social media platforms and tools like Canva, iCut, or similar software. • Reliable transportation—must be able to commute in all weather conditions. • Flexibility: time off during the heating season (except holidays) is very limited due to high demand.
