Job Type Full-time Description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring high-quality patient care. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in various medical settings in an ambulatory surgery setting. Duties • Assist healthcare providers with patient admissions to pre-op. • Perform intake assessments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs • Transfer patients for discharge via wheelchair. • Document patient information in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems accurately • Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with the healthcare team • Conduct routine laboratory tests and assist with patient education regarding health management • Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly • Multi-taskoriented Requirements Skills • Knowledgeable in basic life support techniques and emergency medicine protocols • Familiarity with anatomy and physiology to assist in patient assessments effectively • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings • Competence in handling medical-surgical cases, Ophthalmology knowledge • Strong understanding of EHR systems for efficient documentation and patient management • Ability to perform vital sign checks accurately • Willing to learn and expand knowledge to various areas in the ASC Join our team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
