This individual is responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, and distributing parts and components for the parts department, requiring tasks like inventory management, order fulfillment, and operating warehouse equipment. Employee Compensation Package • Paid time off and holiday pay • Company paid life insurance • Medical, dental, vision, disability, critical illness, accident, and hospital insurance plans available • Flexible spending account and employee assistance program accessible • Retirement Savings Plans (401K / ROTH) plus company matching • Employee Discounts Role Responsibilities • Accept incoming shipments, check them against packing slips for accuracy, and report any discrepancies. • Place received parts into their designated bin locations, ensuring shelves and the warehouse remain organized. • Select parts from storage to fill orders for customers, service departments, and other internal requirements. • Stage, shrink-wrap, and load parts onto trucks for timely delivery. • Track inventory levels and assist with record-keeping to ensure accurate stock. • Adhere to safety procedures, keep the work area clean, and maintain equipment to prevent accidents and ensure efficient workflow. Employee Prerequisites • Onboarding process completed within days of applying! • Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy parts (sometimes up to 100 pounds) for extended periods. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory management and order tracking. • A keen eye for detail to ensure part numbers are correctly identified and parts are stored and picked accurately. • Familiarity with automotive parts and specifications is beneficial but not always required.
