Motorsport is seeking a Senior Editor to help shape and accelerate our editorial presence across all platforms. This role offers the energy of a start-up environment inside a fast-growing global network. You’ll work closely with the Editor-in-Chief to steer daily coverage, develop breakthrough storytelling, and expand our voice beyond the track—from trusted racing news to culture, lifestyle, and trend-driven features that engage fans everywhere. Key Responsibilities • Drive the day-to-day editorial operations, ensuring speed, accuracy, and creativity. • Build and maintain an editorial calendar that captures key racing moments and trend opportunities. • Edit and shape a range of content—from breaking news to longform features and multimedia packages. • Cultivate and mentor staff writers and freelancers, elevating ideas into standout coverage. • Commission and manage freelance contributors and budgets. • Partner with social, video, and design teams to develop ambitious, cross-platform storytelling. • Support branded and sponsor-driven initiatives while upholding editorial standards. Qualifications • 4+ years of digital media experience, with strong editing and content leadership skills. • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up or early-stage environment. • Track record of editing or writing motorsport, sports, or culture-related stories. • Expertise in SEO best practices and crafting attention-grabbing headlines. • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines. The hiring range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year. This position can be located in New York City (Hybrid), Los Angeles (Remote) or Michigan (Remote). The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
