Full Description

Project Overview Our client, a leading global gaming company, is rolling out a partnership with Microsoft OpenAI to embed Digital Assistants (AI/LLM tools) into everyday workflows across all business units worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development (L&D) professional to design, deliver, and sustain scalable learning programs that drive adoption of AI tools, foster responsible use, and create measurable impact. This consultant will work closely with business unit champions, functional leaders, and the AI Literacy team. Key Responsibilities Learning Asset Development • Design multimodal learning experiences (guides, simulations, microlearning, scenario-based exercises, learning modules). • Create role-specific learning pathways for leaders, champions, and everyday users. • Build workflow-integrated playbooks and prompt libraries tailored to business workflows. • Apply iterative design practices (pilot, feedback, update) with governance guardrails. • Ensure all materials incorporate responsible AI principles (ethics, compliance, privacy). Business Unit Support • Partner with business unit champions to assess needs and deliver customized training. • Create scalable approaches and “minimum viable enablement” packages. • Facilitate live and virtual enablement sessions. • Mitigate non-engagement risks by offering alternate enablement pathways. Change Enablement • Align with communications and adoption strategy. • Collect feedback and iterate quickly to ensure sustainable adoption. • Contribute to AI enablement toolkits, sustainment plans, and onboarding resources. Qualifications & Skills • Required: Demonstrated experience leading or supporting digital transformation initiatives (AI adoption at scale preferred). • Expertise in learning design and development (ILT, vILT, microlearning, blended learning). • Strong stakeholder engagement skills; ability to partner across diverse functions. • Experience delivering training in fast-paced, evolving environments. • Background in change management and communications strongly preferred. • Familiarity with AI/technology adoption and digital transformation. • Excellent written, visual, and facilitation skills. • Proficiency with authoring tools (Articulate, Rise, etc.); minimal SCORM deliverables expected. • Experience using Airtable, Asana, and Google Suite preferred. Deliverables • Foundational training assets for Digital Assistants. • Business Unit–specific enablement sessions and curated prompt libraries. • Champion enablement toolkit (train-the-trainer guides, facilitation materials). • Sustainment resources hosted on AI Hub for onboarding new users. • Feedback and adoption reports highlighting impact and opportunities. Attributes for Success • Self-driven, comfortable managing ambiguity, and adaptable in a non-hierarchical culture. • Confident working with executives (director to VP level). • Balanced view of AI adoption: not overly enthusiastic, but able to convey value to long-tenured employees who may resist change. • Collaborative, energetic, and able to fit into a creative, “colorful” team culture. Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 months with possible extension Hours: 40 hours per week Location: 100% Virtual The pay range for this is $65.00 to $70.00 per hour on an independent contractor basis. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
