Job Description: Warehouse Lead Associate- Distribution Center We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to efficiency and safety. Position: Warehouse Lead Associate Duties and Responsibilities: • Help Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities. • Manage, evaluate, all orders are being made and have the correct inventory. • Ensure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracy. • Manage processes and procedures to ensure efficient operations. • Daily and weekly work plans and schedules to ensure orders are completed and shipped on time. • Communicate and collaborate with supervisor to ensure seamless coordination of warehouse activities. • Load correct cartons onto the appropriate freight line trailer. • Ensure freight is properly braced on all freight line trailers. • Check CPR and hardware on all orders. • Accept, verify, inspect, and record all deliveries according to policy. • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area. • Follow all safety procedures and policies. • Ensure the highest level of quality is met. • Build boards to dimensions per set tolerances. • Inspect marking surfaces and trim pieces for damage and imperfections before use and after assembly. • Read a tape measure accurately. • Report damaged or discrepant parts to the manager. • Ensure boards are marked with proper order identification prior to shipment. • Build boards to order specifications. • Keep the workstation clean and neat. • Meet all quality standards. • Read and comprehend order requirements. • Always wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE). • Follow all set safety precautions. Required Skills and Abilities: • High school diploma/GED required • Strong computer skills, hands on experience with shipping software • Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar role. • Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures. • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff. • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. • Excellent time management skills • Forklift certification is a plus. Education and Experience: · High school diploma or equivalent required. Physical Requirements: · Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying. · Lift up to 75 lbs., bend, stand, push, grip, and position heavy and odd-shaped items.
