Full Description

About ClaimSetter ClaimSetter is a fintech startup transforming the insurance recovery process. We purchase business insurance claims and fund disaster recovery costs, helping policyholders get back on track up to five times faster than traditional methods. Our services are free for insurance policyholders. Contractors benefit from upfront claim funding, free Xactimate repair reports, and legal paperwork submission — all in one streamlined process. Role Overview We’re seeking a Junior Project Manager / Claims Administrator to support our growing operations team. This part-time role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how claim management, contractor coordination, and client support come together in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with the operations lead and CEO to ensure projects move smoothly from claim intake to resolution — helping homeowners, contractors, and insurance carriers stay aligned and informed. Responsibilities • Support the day-to-day management of insurance claims and contractor projects. • Communicate with homeowners, contractors, and insurance adjusters to track claim status and next steps. • Prepare and organize documentation such as repair estimates, claim summaries, and progress reports. • Assist with scheduling inspections and coordinating mitigation and reconstruction efforts. • Monitor progress on active claims and update internal tracking systems. • Support project timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met. • Draft clear, professional emails and updates to clients and partners. • Identify process improvements to help streamline claim and project workflows. Requirements • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, insurance claims, property restoration, or administrative support. • Strong organizational and communication skills — verbal and written. • Proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities independently. • Experience working in a startup or fast-moving environment is a plus. • Comfortable using online tools (e.g., Google Workspace, CRM, or project tracking systems). • High attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. • Must be authorized to work in the United States. Additional Details • Type: Part-Time (flexible hours; ~20 hours per week) • Location: Remote (East Coast preferred) • Compensation: Hourly rate based on experience • Growth Opportunity: Potential to expand into a full-time project management or operations role Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week Work Location: Remote
