Inventory Product Specialist Job Description The Inventory Product Specialist manages back of house (BOH) stockroom organization, receives shipments, inspects, adheres RFID labels, organizes inventory, and maintains accurate inventory databases. They operationalize inventory to a space by organizing, tracking, and securing product in a location that can serve all categories, functions, and geographies over the full lifecycle of the product. They ensure proper inventory rotation, minimize waste, and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient storage environment. This role involves tracking, auditing, and organizing products to support operational needs. Key Responsibilities: • Accurately receive products, unpack, hang, and scan inbound shipments, inspecting for quality and accuracy, and liquidate at the end of season. • Organize the stockroom, ensuring proper product rotation (FIFO) and that shelves are organized to maximize space according to the category and the greater team’s needs. • Pull product for executions. • Provide Excellent Customer Service to the clients and greater teams. • Research and resolve any discrepancies between the physical inventory and the system records. Proactively contribute to department problem-solving. Identify and elevate risks, issues, roadblocks, and suggest solutions. • Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized back-of-house area, adhering to client safety protocols. Qualifications: • Experience: Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or retail back-of-house, with strong product knowledge of client categories. • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items (up to 75 lbs), stand for long periods, climb ladders (with heavy boxes), move fixtures and mannequins, work a pallet jack, and work in various conditions. • Skills: Strong attention to detail, positive, professional, proficiency in inventory software/systems, organizational skills, natural leadership skills, clear communication to ensure the team is aware of daily/weekly goals, and a self-starter who can see the “bigger picture” of the product needs.
