What You'll be Doing We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Brokerage/Underwriting Assistant to support our underwriting and brokerage teams. This role involves assisting in the placement of difficult-to-insure risks, evaluating insurance applications, preparing quotes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and governmental regulations. Key Responsibilities Underwriting & Brokerage Support Assist in evaluating insurance applications and underwriting risks. Prepare quotes by analyzing carrier underwriting guidelines and market acceptability. Assist in pre-rating and selecting the correct policy language for insurance contracts. Manage documentation and ensure compliance with underwriting and brokerage standards. Market & Client Interaction Communicate with insurance carriers, markets, and retail insurance broker clients via email and phone. Submit brokerage applications and follow up on required documentation to secure bindable quotes. Collaborate with a team to support quoting for new business and renewals. Operational Support Organize and maintain accurate documentation in internal systems. Track and follow up on outstanding submissions and quotes. Assist in streamlining processes to improve efficiency and service delivery. Qualifications Required Skills Proficient in computer applications and documentation management.
