Starting Salary For this Position is within $88,845.44 - $115,000 Annually Dependent On Qualifications JOB SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Director of Information Technology, performs highly responsible management, administrative and technical work in planning and directing the activities of the City’s Network and Server Operations staff. This involves management of the City’s datacenters, server, network, and communication environments and associated systems and equipment. Work involves the responsibility for the management of related contracts and purchases, operational efficiencies, business continuity. Works closely with other IT divisions and City departments to communicate and optimize IT related services. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or CompTIA Network+ certification is required. Additional education and experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the above requirements.
