Job Summary Job Description Overview The Onboarding Partner is responsible for advanced, decision-making tasks within the onboarding process and serves as a key facilitator of communication between candidates, hiring managers, and internal departments. This role analyzes pre-employment results (such as background checks), provides consultative support to hiring managers, and ensures the onboarding process aligns with organizational priorities and compliance standards. The Onboarding Partner is expected to exercise independent judgment, resolve complex onboarding issues, and deliver high-level customer service throughout the hiring lifecycle. Essential Functions 1 Analyze and interpret pre-employment information, including background check results, health screenings, and compliance documentation, and make recommendations or decisions regarding candidate eligibility in accordance with policy and legal requirements 2 Serve as the primary point of contact for hiring managers, providing proactive updates on candidate status, anticipated timelines, and next steps throughout the onboarding process 3 Facilitate communication between candidates, hiring managers, and multiple departments (e.g., IT, payroll, facilities) to ensure seamless onboarding and timely resolution of issues 4 Coordinate and support hiring events as needed, representing the onboarding function and ensuring a positive candidate experience 5 Generate, track, and manage offer letters and pre-employment documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance 6 Oversee and manage background check processes, profile updates, and required corrections in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) 7 Audit onboarding documentation for legal and policy compliance, escalating issues as appropriate and ensuring all records are complete and accurate 8 Distribute and analyze weekly hire reports, providing actionable insights to HR leadership and recommending process improvements 9 Collect and act on new hire and hiring manager feedback to continuously enhance the onboarding experience 10 Provide training and guidance to onboarding associates and assistants as needed 11 Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with all applicable data protection laws and regulations, including FERPA and HIPAA 12 Perform other related duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Advanced knowledge of onboarding best practices, employment laws, and HR compliance requirements. • Strong analytical skills to review and interpret pre-employment information and make sound decisions. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate complex discussions and resolve issues with diplomacy. • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday), document management, and office software applications. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to provide training and guidance to less experienced staff. • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding data protection standards. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration or Human Resources related field. EXPERIENCE • Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in onboarding, HR field, including experience with pre-employment screening and direct customer service to hiring managers. EQUIVALENCY • High school diploma or GED plus six (6) years of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements. • Associate degree (or higher) in any field plus four (4) years of the required experience will meet the education and experience requirements. Salary Range $28.27 - $33.93 The salary listed on this job posting is the starting salary range; amount offered will depend upon qualifications.
