Overview Cirque Analytics is seeking a Linux HPC Systems Architect to join our IT team. This role offers flexibility, as candidates may work from any of our four offices or remotely. Occasional travel to our datacenter facilities in the Phoenix metro area will be required, with all travel expenses covered. The role is based on working alongside our Principal Systems Architect to design, engineer, and deploy cutting edge computing solutions. Responsibilities Manage a large fleet of Linux based servers. (Bare metal, virtualized, and containerized deployments.) Write and maintain Ansible roles to automate tasks and deployments of various services following existing coding standards and practices. Manage bare metal and virtualized automated deployment processes. Assist with design, implementation, maintenance, and automation of Ceph storage clusters. Assist with design, deployment, management, and automation of Juniper based networks. (EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, SRX, QFX, EX) Assist in security design considerations in our environment. (Firewalling, Zero-trust, PCI, HIPPA) Support QEMU/KVM based virtualization cluster deployments. Support proxmox based virtualization cluster deployments. Support back-end authentication systems (IDM) Qualifications Prior experience working with Ceph storage. (Cephfs, RGW, RBD) Prior experience with advanced networking designs, deployments, and troubleshooting, automation. Prior experience working with Juniper networking equipment in advanced deployments. (EVPN, VLXAN experience is a major plus.) Prior experience working with ansible automation, writing and maintaining ansible roles. (Prior Infrastructure as code experience.) Experience with IPAM tools and documentation systems. Experience working with OpenStack is a plus. Candidates with a home lab are welcome to share their personal projects and what they are working on! Experience with physical datacenter design and installation work is a plus.
