What You’ll Do • Prospect and develop new customer relationships through cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach. • Manage your accounts from start to finish, quoting, booking, dispatching, and customer follow-up. • Serve as the primary point of contact for your customers, ensuring clear communication and top-tier service. • Identify opportunities to expand customer accounts and increase revenue. • Lead by example as we build the North Indy team, helping shape the office culture and growth strategy. • Participate in RFP reviews, continuous improvement calls, and quarterly business reviews with clients. • Collaborate with leadership to develop long-term goals for the branch and your personal book of business. What You Bring • 2+ years of direct freight brokerage experience, booking freight or selling brokerage services required. • Strong knowledge of transportation operations, carrier networks, and customer development. • Experience managing accounts and executing full-cycle logistics (cradle-to-grave). • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency with TMS/CRM platforms and Excel/Google Suite. • A self-starter mentality, you like to build things, not just maintain them.
