Official Title: Senior Business Development Manager (Path to Branch Management) Reports To: VP of Operations Location: Remote (based in your region) About the Role Circle Logistics is expanding, and we’re seeking experienced Cradle-to-Gate representatives who are ready to build a book of business and grow into Branch leadership. This is a full-cycle business development role — you will cold call, sell our services, onboard the accounts you close, and manage/cover your own freight with carriers. You own the customer relationship end-to-end while benefiting from strong operational and administrative support. You’ll have autonomy, real earning potential, and a clear path to Branch Management for leaders who can grow, retain, and scale a profitable book. Why Circle Logistics • Defined upward path to Branch Management and VP roles • Strong, collaborative, performance-driven culture • Competitive pay + aggressive, uncapped commissions • National footprint with a “No Fail” mindset • In-house Track & Trace team handling updates and shipment monitoring • Dedicated Billing team to support AR/AP and invoice resolution What You’ll Do • Cold call and proactively prospect shippers to expand market presence and generate new business • Sell Circle’s transportation solutions and convert leads into long-term accounts • Fully manage and grow the accounts you bring on — relationship, service, retention, solutions • Cover your own freight: develop carrier partnerships, negotiate rates, ensure profitability • Monitor service performance, address escalations, and ensure on-time pickup and delivery • Work directly with leadership on pricing and account strategy • Maintain service KPIs and uphold Circle’s communication and performance standards • Leverage provided technology for prospecting and pipeline development, including SalesIntel, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot What We’re Looking For • 3–5 years in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation sales • Comfort and confidence with cold calling, outbound sales, and building a book from scratch • Proven success managing both shipper accounts and carrier relationships • Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-through skills • Proficient in Google Workspace & Microsoft Office • Familiarity with CRMs ie: HubSpot, SalesIntel, and ZoomInfo (all provided) • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment • Leadership-minded with ambition to move into Branch Management Ready to Build, Sell, and Lead?
