The Testing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting quality assurance and performance testing of systems, as well as defining testing strategies. They lead testing high profile, mission critical applications to ensure system accuracy, capacity, reliability, and scalability. Testing Engineers create testing frameworks by writing software, compile and analyze results, produce reports, present findings, document processes, and create utilities. To ensure active engagement in meetings, it is mandatory for all IT associates to have cameras turned on for all interactions with other associates, customers, and stakeholders. Your camera must be on and positioned correctly to clearly show your face. This practice is crucial for maintaining connection and engagement, as non-verbal cues are essential for effective communication. Be ready to: understand and follow proper procedures, processes, and standards for testing design, create, execute, and maintain test suites utilize programming languages, utilities, and tools to create test frameworks and scripts. perform quality assurance tests to validate system accuracy and usability to requirements perform load, scalability, and endurance tests to validate system performance and stability analyze test results and system monitors to identify variances perform root cause analysis of performance issues and suggest corrective actions generate test summary reports for stakeholder review work with application support, developers, and architects to improve system accuracy, performance, capacity, reliability, scalability, and useability present status of current work efforts to application stakeholders constantly improve processes, efficiency, scope, and documentation Be equipped with: quality Assurance testing and analysis experience performance Testing and Analysis experience strong analytical skills good verbal and written communication skills the ability to work independently, be organized, and be detail oriented the flexibility to handle frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced environment the willingness to work occasional off hours to see successful project completion the ability to positively respond to team suggestions and challenges familiarity with programming concepts experience with HTML, XML, and one or more programming/scripting languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Python Preferred experience C#, Java, Perl, and JavaScript LoadRunner and SQL Server Selenium and/or 34 Office products Word and Excel using a tool such as WinMerge or BeyondCompare diagnosing issues such as high CPU utilization and memory leaks diagnosing database and network issues a web services testing tool such as SOAPUI or Postman Enhance your talents Providing outstanding service and developing strong relationships with our independent agents are hallmarks of our company.
