As a Provider Data Analyst at Cigna Healthcare, you will play a critical role in preparing and validating data files for Dental and Vision claims. You will ensure that both new and existing business files are accurately scrubbed, standardized, and formatted for seamless integration into our data processing systems. Your work supports efficient claims analysis and reporting, contributing to the overall accuracy and integrity of provider data. Key Responsibilities: Data File Preparation & Cleansing: Review, clean, and standardize provider names and addresses in all claim files related to Dental and Vision services. Ensure files meet formatting standards for both new and existing businesses. Timely File Readiness: Prepare and deliver claim files for analyst processing at least two business days before their scheduled due date, ensuring adequate time for quality review. Quality Assurance: Maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency in data formatting to reduce errors and support efficient downstream claims processing. Agile Response to Priorities: Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and respond promptly to urgent or expedited file requests. Reporting Support: Assist with report generation and processing as needed to support team deliverables. Qualifications: Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Self-motivated, energetic, and adaptable to changing business needs. Experience with healthcare data systems such as Facets, QNXT, or similar platforms is preferred. Understanding of HIPAA and data privacy standards related to healthcare data handling. Analytical skills to interpret data trends, identify inconsistencies, and support data quality improvements. Experience with data tools such as SQL, Access, or visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI is a plus. Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify and recommend workflow enhancements. General knowledge of healthcare operations, especially dental and vision benefits, provider networks, and claims lifecycle. If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 25 - 38 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
