The Business Analytics Lead Analyst will be a critical member of Cigna's Individual and Family Plan Risk Adjustment – EDGE Operations Team. This role will drive improvements across Cigna's participation and compliance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Risk Adjustment Programs. The Business Analytics Lead Analyst is a hands-on data role that will be relied upon to use data to answer business critical questions surrounding Cigna's current and future participation in the government business space. Some of the risk operation related initiatives impact Cigna's customers directly, and the Business Analytics Lead Analyst will be expected to put the customer “first” in these situations – always keeping a strong customer focus while improving Cigna's position in the marketplace. This individual will be specifically responsible for: Development & deployment of EDGE processes, reporting solutions and analytics Creation and oversight of key control reporting processes and metrics to ensure data quality and mitigate emerging risks Oversight of performance metric reports used to monitor, communicate and positively influence areas of opportunity Collaborating with matrix partners across Business, Operations and IT to ensure priorities are aligned and goals are achieved Compliance with all applicable regulatory policies and standards Creating and/or updating policies, procedures and practices to ensure compliance across all processes Continually improving process quality and efficiencies Technical accountability for the Risk operational platforms including new IT development, releases, and support QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years of health care industry and informatics experience Bachelors in Data Science, Informatics, Public Health, Management Information Systems or related field a plus Experience in healthcare delivery environment, including operations, financial management, quality management, risk management, informatics and business development Experience working in a large highly matrixed organization, with proven ability to develop strong internal enterprise relations Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to make sound business decisions by analyzing data and key metrics Strong proficiency with data mining tools including SQL, SAS, SAS Data Integration Studios, Oracle, Data Bricks, Teradata or similar software If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 77,300 - 128,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
