Who you are:  The Senior Director, Community Engagement is responsible for leading strategic efforts to build and strengthen CIEE’s BridgeUSA presence in communities across the US including the creation and oversight for CIEE’s One World Cafe. This role will be responsible for building host partnerships that support the growth pf successful placements across all BridgeUSA program offerings, and will focus on identifying new placement relationships, identifying opportunities to deepen existing relationships with key stakeholders, and creating and managing community events to support the growth of the BridgeUSA programs with a sharp focus on consistent high-quality engagement with top stakeholders. In addition, the Senior Director will work to solidify the CIEE BridgeUSA brand across these communities. The Senior Director will identify and manage a network of contracted contacts in highly desirable communities across the US to help increase placements and CIEE’s share of placements with hosts as well as CIEE’s BridgeUSA presence in those communities. This role will champion all BridgeUSA placement programs in those communities and will develop and implement partnership strategies that enhance placement outcomes and contribute to the overall success of the BridgeUSA programs.                                                                                                        What you’ll do:  * Develop and implement partnership relationships and contract with industry professionals in key areas to source, secure and increase placements for CIEE BridgeUSA programs. * Lead initiatives to build and strengthen partnerships in communities that support and successfully grow placements across all BridgeUSA program offerings. * Identify and cultivate new placement opportunities with key stakeholders. * Deepen existing relationships to support long-term placement success and program growth. * Create and deploy a calendar of community events throughout the year to increase CIEE’s presence and maintain engagement with community stakeholders. * Ensure consistent CIEE presence with CIEE BridgeUSA staff within communities. * Lead the creation and expansion of CIEE’s One World Café. * Share the community work best practices with the Department of State showcasing CIEE as a leader in BridgeUSA. * Be the face of CIEE BridgeUSA community initiative. * Deliver exceptional service to all partners and ensure positive, client-focused interactions throughout the placement lifecycle. * Collaborate with teams across the organization on various projects   What you’ll bring:  The ideal candidate will possess: * Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent). * 10+ years of experience in program leadership, ideally in a sales and account management role. * Previous experience and knowledge of J1 Visa. * Strong interpersonal skills – a team player and a self-starter who is able to exercise sound judgement across various issues and multiple projects and priorities. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including phone, in person, via email). * Strong account management skills. * Ability to work autonomously and plan for and manager multiple projects and priorities within tight deadlines. * Flexibility and interest in a dynamic, team-oriented working environment and ability to change priorities quickly. * Travel or experience in an international setting and living/studying abroad experience preferred. * Ability to work some holidays and business closure days may be required. * Readiness to grow and develop yourself, our client group, and our Company. * Ability to embrace CIEE’s Core Value (Excellence, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, and Problem Solving) and culture.    CIEE believes that professionals with varied backgrounds bring unique approaches and ideas to solving problems and advancing our mission to bring the world together.
