Who you are:  The Associate Director of Sales is a dynamic and results-driven leader responsible for managing a team of 14-18 sales professionals across a regional portfolio. This role requires a hands-on approach to leadership, focusing on strategy, mentorship, and execution to ensure territories meet and exceed ambitious sales goals. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for international education, a prolific networker with proven ability to build relationships, a master of sales best practices, and a collaborative partner dedicated to fostering a high-performance culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.                                                                                                         What you’ll do:  * Sales Leadership & Strategy:Lead regional sales teams to exceed ambitious enrollment and revenue goals. Drive strategy for building and expanding school partnerships, with a focus on cultivating relationships with key school and district-level stakeholders. * Team Management & Mentorship: Manage a team of 14-18 sales staff, with 4-6 direct reports. Model best-in-class sales practices through coaching, in-person training sessions, and field work. Empower and mentor Sales Managers and Enrollment Coordinators to achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals. * Training & Development: Oversee the training and development of sales staff, ensuring deep product knowledge across all Global Navigator programs. Conduct in-field training to support higher-level stakeholder conversations and account management. * Pipeline Management: Guide teams to effectively manage the application pipeline, execute a high volume of outreach, and convert applications into traveled students. Drive consistent sales strategies for both scholarship and full-pay student demographics. * Field Presence & Representation: Represent CIEE at regional and national conferences and CIEE-sponsored events. Build and advance new key accounts through in-person engagement. Travel extensively (30-40% of the time, including overnight travel) to support teams and represent the organization. * Operational Excellence: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Data Analyst team and other department leaders, to refine CRM management, improve systems, and ensure timely and accurate reporting. Proactively identify and resolve challenges in struggling territories. * Team Culture: Foster a positive and collaborative team culture. Lead by example in professionalism, empathy, and transparent communication. Recognize high-quality work and accomplishments to build morale and drive motivation. * Project Management: Lead special projects and initiatives related to new school sales, custom programming, and new business opportunities. * Customer Support: Provide on-program support to parents and legal guardians for escalated on-program issues. What you’ll bring: * Minimum of 5 years of B2C sales and sales management experience. * Proven experience in B2B account development for channel selling. * Demonstrated proficiency in B2C inside phone sales. * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. * A strong passion for training, mentorship, and team leadership. * Experience in the field of International Education or related overseas industries. * Proficient with Microsoft products, Salesforce, and other CRM tools. * An enthusiastic commitment to education and belief in the power of global citizenship. * Experience living abroad is preferred. * Willingness to travel 30-40% of the time. Location Requirements:             The position is available to candidates in Texas & Arizona.
