Job Overview The Project Manager oversees the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted facility maintenance and repair program. The Project Manager implements strategic initiatives to correct business-related deficiencies through continuous improvement methodologies. The incumbent serves as the principal point of representation and liaison with the client on operational matters and provides day-to-day technical/professional guidance and leadership. Salary Range: $128,000.00 - $138,000.00 This position is contingent upon contract award. Work Model: Onsite/In-Office Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: • Oversee the management of comprehensive facilities maintenance and repair program. • Participate in the development and administration of project goals, objectives, and procedures. Prepare and administer program. • Prepare clear and concise administrative and financial reports. • Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the work of contractors. Inspect projects and evaluate the adequacy of work performed at various work locations. • Read and interpret plans, specifications, and drawings. Serve as a technical advisor. • Exercise sound independent judgment. • Analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals. • Interpret and apply Federal, State, and local policies, laws, and regulations. • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. • Develops and implements an ongoing preventative maintenance program for buildings and facilities. • Manages and participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for assigned programs; recommends and administers policies and procedures. • Monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures; recommends, within departmental policy, appropriate service, and staffing levels. • Plans, directs, coordinates, and reviews the work plan for assigned staff; assigns work activities, projects, and programs; reviews and evaluates work products, methods, and procedures; meets with staff to identify and resolve problems. • Oversees and participates in the development and administration of the Department’s annual budget; participates in the forecast of funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; monitors and approve expenditures; implements adjustments. • Review site work for compliance in accordance with applicable plans, procedures, and codes. • Able to inspect and diagnose problems to determine corrective actions/repairs in all the trade levels. • Responsible for processing departmental time sheets. • Respond to emergency site maintenance as required. • May occasionally be required to operate customer and company-owned motor vehicles. • Supports other department staff as needed or directed. • Adheres to the established company safety and personnel policies and standard procedures. • Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Mandatory: • Five (5) years’ experience in project management. • Three (3) years’ experience in facility maintenance. • Demonstrated ability and experience to manage a facility management contract with a similar scope of work and duties. • Understanding of Government contracts, correspondence, reports, and records, including delivery order work. • Harmoniously working with other employees and customers. • Maintains the required intelligence community level clearance. • Must be willing to travel up to 25%.
