Job Description: • Manage CT’s news team including editors, writers, and freelancers • Assign and edit news stories • Discover news of interest to CT readers • Ensure content upholds journalistic standards and ethics • Work with editors to enhance news value and coverage • Speak about CT stories on podcasts • Travel for reporting and meetings • Train freelance journalists and develop workflows Requirements: • 5+ years of editorial and newsroom experience • Strong news judgment and editing skills • Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information • Commitment to meeting deadlines and willingness to work irregular hours • Ability to communicate well on podcasts and in print • Theological knowledge and practical application skills Benefits: • CT offers a comprehensive benefits package - check out our careers page to learn more
