Contract Hire Position | Remote (US Only) | $8,000/month Position Overview We're building a portfolio of AI-powered business automation tools targeting SMBs and mid-market companies. We're seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to work directly with the founder to rapidly prototype and launch these tools, with the goal of achieving product-market fit and scaling successful products. Note: Background check required upon hire Employment Type: Contract Hire (1099) Contract Details: Compensation: $8,000/month Start Date: ASAP Location: Remote (US-based candidates only) Time Zone: Pacific Time Zone business hours overlap required Schedule: Flexible within PST hours About the Opportunity Our current pipeline includes exciting projects like: • Local Business SEO Automation Tool - Automate Google Business Profile management and review responses • Restaurant Inventory & Waste Management System - AI-powered demand forecasting and waste reduction • Team Knowledge Base with AI Retrieval - Slack/Teams integrated knowledge management with LLM search • Content Repurposing Tool - Automatically transform content across multiple formats and platforms You'll have direct impact as the primary developer building products from concept to launch, working with cutting-edge LLM technology in a fast-paced startup environment. What You'll Build Immediate Projects (First 30 Days) • MVP development for 1-2 core products from our validated idea pipeline • Integration with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude) for AI-powered features • Modern web applications with clean, responsive interfaces • Database design and API development for multi-tenant SaaS products Ongoing Responsibilities • Feature development based on user feedback and market validation • Performance optimization and scaling preparations • Testing, debugging, and maintaining code quality • Direct collaboration with founder on product strategy and technical decisions Required Experience Must Have • 1+ year professional full stack development experience (preferred) • Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript • Experience with React, Node.js, and database design (PostgreSQL/MongoDB) • Previous work with REST APIs and third-party integrations • Active GitHub profile with recent, high-quality code samples • Proven ability to work independently and deliver complete features • Excellent communication skills • Reliable internet and professional development setup Highly Preferred • Experience building SaaS applications or business tools • Previous work with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) • Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI application development • Experience with modern deployment (Docker, AWS/GCP, CI/CD) • Understanding of subscription billing and user management systems Our Tech Stack Category Technologies Technologies Frontend : React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS Backend: Node.js, Express, Python (FastAPI for AI features) Database: PostgreSQL, Redis for caching AI/M: OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude, LangChain Infrastructure : AWS, Azure, Docker, GitHub Actions Tools: Slack, Linear, GitHub, Figma What Makes This Role Unique Direct Impact - You'll be the primary developer building products from concept to launch AI Focus - Work extensively with cutting-edge LLM technology and prompt engineering Market Validation - Build products with validated demand and clear revenue potential Growth Opportunity - Successful products will scale rapidly with potential for equity/profit sharing Learning Environment - Work directly with an experienced founder in a fast-paced startup environment Application Requirements Your application MUST include: 1.
