Position Overview CHOOSE 180 is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to join our Teaching and Advancement (TA) team. This role will work closely with the TA project manager to oversee research and grant projects, develop trauma-informed trainings and workshops, and ensure successful completion of contract goals and deliverables. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, community-centered, and committed to equity and systems transformation. Duties & Key Responsibilities: Community Based Research • Co-facilitate focus groups and stakeholder interviews • Manage outreach and communication to stakeholders and participants • Conduct literature reviews on youth justice, the school to prison pipeline, and gun violence • Conduct asset mapping of proposed service areas to identify existing resources, gaps in services, and opportunities for program improvement • Support and at times present CHOOSE 180’s work at local, regional, and national convenings and conferences. Workshop and Training Development • Research adult learning theories and best practices for workshops and trainings • Support the development of workshop frameworks and materials • Assist with creating pre-and-post-workshop feedback and evaluation tools • Support and at times co-facilitate trauma-informed trainings to community, school, and system partners. • Oversee the learning management system connected to the workshops and trainings Project Management, Reporting & Deliverables • Co-manage project timelines to ensure Teaching and Advancement objectives and contract deliverables are met. • Document progress, challenges, and emerging needs and communicate regularly with the TA Project Manager. • Assist in grant reporting efforts related to Teaching and Advancement initiatives. Organizational Support • Support the overall goals and strategic direction of the Teaching and Advancement team and CHOOSE 180. • Participate in required meetings, trainings, staff retreats, and conferences. • Engage in local and national efforts to stay connected to on-the-ground needs and best practices in restorative justice and violence prevention. Desired Qualifications: • Strong commitment to the mission, vision, and values of CHOOSE 180. • Lived experience in or personal connection to the criminal legal system • Ability to communicate CHOOSE 180’s mission clearly, effectively, and inspirationally. • Experience with community-based programs, restorative justice, violence prevention, or systems change work. • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. • Excellent verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust across diverse communities and systems. • Comfort working with data, assessments, and reporting tools to inform program strategy. Compensation and Benefits: CHOOSE 180 is committed to providing employees with a living wage and competitive benefits package. The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $73,000 annually. Position comes with medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as generous paid time off, tuition reimbursement and a wellness investment. Additional Information: Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful completion of state and national background checks, including fingerprinting. This is a full-time position (30-40 hours per week) and may require availability during evenings, weekends, and the ability to travel out of state.
