About Us We are a growing patient focused medical practice seeking a reliable, energetic, and professional Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, and experienced in handling front office operations in a healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities: Front desk and Patient Services Check in/ check out patients efficiently Schedule appointments, manage recalls, and confirm upcoming visits Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area Insurance & Authorization Verify insurance eligibility across multiple payer portals and clearinghouse systems Accurately enter insurance details into EHR/PM system Ensure compliance with payer policies and documentation requirements Financial Responsibilities Collect copays, deductibles, past due balances and payment plans Explain patient responsibilities accurately and confidently Process cash, check and card payments: balance end of day reports Administrative & Multitasking Manage high volume phone calls in a professional manner Update and maintain patient records Work with clinical and billing teams for smooth workflow Handle incoming faxes, emails, and documentation requests Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience working in a medical practice front desk or similar healthcare administrative role Bilingual: English & Spanish (verbal and written fluency required) Strong knowledge of insurance eligibility verification, and payer websites Experience using EHR systems Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure and maintain professionalism Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills Reliable, punctual, and team -oriented work ethic Preferred Skills Patient recall management (annual wellness, follow ups, chronic care) Experience with medical terminology Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality laws Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Health insurance Work Location: In person
