Overview Chiron Technology Services, Inc. currently has a System Engineer career opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Category: System Engineer IV Type: Full Time Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Capabilities: • Contributes to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents • Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations • Assist in performing systems engineering activities in the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas • Assist in developing a new or innovative approach to a technical or engineering issue • Assist in conducting an evaluation to determine its suitability for project implementation • Analyze and propose appropriate engineering standards and processes for a project • Supervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project • Lead contractor systems engineering activities for a project to include supervising the work of the project engineering staff and technicians • Independently make decisions regarding engineering issues and methodology for a project • Brief stakeholders and present the status on all technical aspects of their project Qualifications: • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience • Four (4) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree Compensation & Benefits: • $154K-$164K /year • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Non-matching 401K - You enjoy our support without having to contribute to get it! • Basic Life and AD&D Insurance provided at no cost to eligible employees • Access to Chiron’s catalog of self-paced training courses • Two Paid Time Off (PTO)/Retirement Plan Options • 10K employee referral bonus program We are an EEO/AA Employer.
