Job Duties and Responsibilities of Shift Supervisor: • Showcase the proper way of preparing and serving food in line with the company's high-quality standards, leading by example to inspire others to do the same. • Check for compliance with food safety guidelines, which involve monitoring handwashing procedures, controlling temperatures, and managing product expiry dates. • Support in handling customer concerns to facilitate a pleasant and trouble-free dining occasion. • Supervise the team's execution, help with organizing timetables, managing break times, and coordinating the smooth handover of shifts. • Back up and instruct team members, delivering constructive criticism and instruction on preparing meals and enhancing customer service. • Ensure that all tools are well-maintained and ready for use, and inform the appropriate personnel right away if there are any problems. • Carry out operational tasks such as handling cash, depositing funds, and ensuring optimal inventory levels. • Engage in teamwork to fulfill objectives related to sales figures, food quality standards, and cleanliness levels in the restaurant.
