Job Summary The Director of Indirect Procurement – Professional Services will lead strategic sourcing and category management for Brinker’s largest indirect spend areas, including Marketing, IT, and HR. In addition to managing own category, this role is responsible for leading a team of procurement professionals. This role is responsible for the creation and execution of procurement strategies that deliver cost savings, risk mitigation, and value creation for Brinker’s enterprise operations. The Director will partner closely with senior stakeholders across the organization to align procurement initiatives with business objectives and ensure compliance with governance standards. Strong leadership and communication skills are a must. What You’ll Do Develop, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and statements of work with top-tier suppliers Build strong partnerships through regular touchpoints, including quarterly business reviews and listening sessions Ensure compliance by reviewing agreements with Legal and Risk Management teams Analyze business terms and communicate effectively with stakeholders to gain alignment Manage projects and timelines to meet stakeholder expectations and deliver results Lead a team of procurement professionals to deliver on category objectives Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and foster world-class relationships Collaborate across multiple departments in a complex, multi-tiered corporate environment Stay informed on industry trends and market developments Lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and timely completion What You Bring to the Team Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred 10+ years of procurement and supply chain leadership experience Expertise in professional services procurement (required) and marketing procurement (preferred) Strong knowledge of sourcing, category management, and best practices in complex environments Proven ability to drive change collaboratively and lead high-performing teams Excellent negotiation, communication, and influencing skills at all organizational levels High business acumen with strong analytical and financial capabilities Ability to simplify complex issues and communicate clearly to diverse audiences Results-driven, comfortable setting and achieving ambitious targets Why Brinker At Brinker, we believe life is short, so work happy!
