Summary: Coordinates, administers, implements and assists in specific assigned contracting activities. Monitors contacts to facilitate and complete administrative compliance. Ensures all new and renewed contracts meet Children's legal and financial term compliance standards. Coordinates analysis of price bids and assists in implementing contract compliance activities. Assists departments in the administration of supply,equipment and service contracts in Infor FSM and consults on utilization data, as needed.. Directly interfaces with departments and vendors on supply, equipment and service contract pricing requests, issues and negotiations. Effectively budgets time, works efficiently and accurately, and follows procedures and stated priorities with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: • Maintains in depth knowledge of GPO contracts and solid knowledge of other GPO product category programs • Maintains in depth knowledge of Children's specific local contracts and expertly utilizes Infor FSM • Assists in ensuring optimal participation in GPO agreements to maximize incentives • Serves as a contact for assigned supply/equipment vendors and distributors regarding system contracts • Utilizes approved contracting templates for developing Children's agreements for each assigned contract matter. Determines the most appropriate path to expedite contract requests and while protecting Children’s interests. • Maintains in depth knowledge of Children’s terms and conditions and the specific risk being managed by each. • Applies critical thinking to determine contract negotiation strategy and status, and appropriately engages all internal reviewers in order to represent business needs. Facilitates contract term discussions with all parties to advance negotiations. • Manages redlines and status explanations accurately and succinctly. • Adheres to stated service level agreements and task turnaround timeframes as directed by leadership. • Expertly communicates contract status, proactively manages contracting timeframes, and actively resolves issues impacting contract completion. • Negotiate contracts with suppliers as assigned; evaluates bids and proposals and recommends award decisions in collaboration with key stakeholders and business owner; reviews and interprets vendor contracts for accuracy and completeness. Ensures the approach to contracting does not expose Children’s to unnecessary risk and adheres to stated policies and procedures. • Manages contract redlines, assesses vendor edits and recommends revisions. • Acts as a liaison between Children's Health System of Texas (CHST) and suppliers to implement fulfillment of contracts • Coordinates the installation of new suppliers and manages all aspects of contract workspace management for all new or revised contracts in Infor FSM • Create and review reports showing status of contracting activity. Calendar contract administration tasks for the contract duration to assist with contract portfolio management as determined by leadership. How You’ll Be Successful: WORK EXPERIENCE • At least 5 years Contract administration lifecycle management experience (at least 2 years in healthcare relates field is strongly preferred) Req • Must have a strong understanding of ERP Contract Management functions (preferable has significant experience as a functional system administration and ideally in Info FSM) Req • Must possess advanced skills in contract data analytics, critical thinking, negotiation lifecycle management, preparing executive briefs, and consulting internal stakeholders Req EDUCATION • Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Req LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS • CMRP Pref A Place Where You Belong We put our people first.
