Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and overall growth. Experience with children in various educational settings, including daycare, private schools, or Montessori environments, is highly valued. The Preschool Teacher will play a vital role in supporting children's early learning experiences and ensuring their well-being in a safe and engaging classroom setting. Duties • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum frameworks such as Montessori or other pedagogical approaches. • Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning through play-based activities. • Assess individual student needs through observation and standardized testing to tailor instruction effectively. • Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere. • Support children's social-emotional development by facilitating group activities that promote cooperation, communication skills, and conflict resolution. • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss progress, address concerns, and provide guidance on child welfare and developmental milestones. • Incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and early intervention strategies into daily activities. • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development and teaching methodologies. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Skills • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care, behavior management, and early intervention techniques. • Experience with curriculum development across various domains such as literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and special education needs. • Classroom management skills with the ability to maintain discipline while fostering a positive learning environment. • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators. • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools for young learners. • Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate diverse teaching strategies suitable for preschool-aged children. • Experience working with students in daycare settings or private schools is preferred. • Knowledge of Montessori methods or experience with early childhood education programs enhances suitability for this role. • Compassionate attitude towards child welfare with a commitment to creating an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
