We are seeking recent graduate or someone with a passion to be creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media marketing, content creation, and digital analytics, along with proficiency in various design and management tools. This role is ideally for a self-starter, interested in cultivating their skills and desire to work for a non-profit. Duties • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. • Create engaging content that aligns with brand messaging and resonates with target audiences. • Utilize SEO techniques and keyword research to optimize posts for search visibility. • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities through social listening. • Manage social media advertising campaigns including Facebook Advertising to increase reach and engagement. • Analyze performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and Buffer to assess the effectiveness of campaigns. • Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing graphics using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator). • Conduct proofreading of all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines. • Engage in relationship management by responding promptly to comments and messages from followers. • Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, branding, and public relations. • Assist in video editing and photography for promotional content as needed. Qualifications • Proven experience in social media management or related field with a strong portfolio of content creation. • Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer is preferred. • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track performance metrics. • Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; experience with video editing is a plus. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail in proofreading. • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies including SEO, keyword research, and branding principles. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. • A passion for staying current with social media trends and emerging technologies.
