Company Description The Child Care Action Council (CCAC) was established in 1987 to address gaps in the local child care system. Serving families and providers across Thurston, Grays Harbor, Mason, Kitsap, Jefferson, and Clallam counties, CCAC is committed to fostering early learning communities. The organization's mission is to promote environments where children and families can thrive, reflecting its dedication to supporting quality child care and early education in the community. Role Description The Director of Finance and Operations will oversee and manage the organization’s financial and operational functions to ensure effectiveness and compliance. Key responsibilities include financial planning, managing budgets, preparing financial statements, and overseeing financial reporting. The director will also support operational strategy, maintain organizational efficiency, and work closely with leadership to drive long-term sustainability goals. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Olympia, WA. Qualifications • Strong expertise in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting • Proficiency in Financial Statements preparation and analysis • Demonstrated Analytical Skills and knowledge of Finance principles • Proven experience with organizational leadership and operations management • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or CPA designation preferred • Experience working in the non-profit sector or with mission-driven organizations is a plus • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards
