Role Overview At Chick-fil-A Lincoln Park, a Coach is a high-trust, people-focused leader responsible for owning a specific day-part or functional area of the business while developing Team Leaders and Team Members. Coaches serve as the connection point between Directors and Team Leaders, ensuring standards, culture, and results are consistently executed. This role is ideal for leaders who desire consistency in schedule, ownership of results, and direct investment in people development while working cross-functionally with other Coaches in both Kitchen and Guest Experience. Position Type • Full-time • Consistent schedule aligned to assigned daypart or functional focus What We Offer • A leadership role with real ownership and influence • Consistent schedule with clear expectations • Direct coaching and mentorship from Directors and the Operator • Intentional leadership development and growth pathways • Opportunity to specialize in a business focus area (people, systems, training, or execution) • Closed on Sundays • Competitive pay and advancement opportunities • Scholarship opportunities Core Responsibilities Daypart & Operational Ownership • Own the execution, flow, and results of an assigned daypart or operational focus • Ensure excellence in speed, accuracy, food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality • Execute daily game plans and adjust in real-time to meet business needs • Maintain Chick-fil-A operational and brand standards Team Leader Development • Coach, develop, and hold Team Leaders accountable to standards and growth goals • Provide real-time feedback, encouragement, and correction • Support Team Leaders in running effective shifts and developing their teams • Assist in identifying and developing future leaders People & Culture • Model Chick-fil-A values and Lincoln Park culture at all times • Build trust, consistency, and clarity for Team Members • Support onboarding, training, and reinforcement of standards • Promote a positive, high-energy, team-oriented environment Cross-Functional Leadership • Collaborate with other Coaches across Kitchen and Guest Experience • Partner with Directors to execute initiatives and priorities • Communicate wins, challenges, and trends clearly to leadership • Assist with training, systems development, and process improvement Business Focus Area (Assigned) Each Coach will have ownership of a consistent focus area, such as: • Training & Development • Speed of Service & Execution • Team Engagement & Culture • Food Safety & Quality • Systems & Process Improvement This focus area will be developed in partnership with Directors and reviewed regularly. Qualifications & Requirements • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment • Strong coaching and communication skills • Ability to lead confidently while remaining humble and teachable • Consistent, dependable, and emotionally intelligent • Ability to hold standards while caring deeply for people • Flexible mindset with consistent schedule expectations • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 30–55 lbs as needed How Success Is Measured • Strong daypart performance and consistency • Growth and confidence of Team Leaders • Positive team morale and engagement • Execution of assigned focus area initiatives • Alignment with Chick-fil-A standards and Lincoln Park vision Why This Role Matters Coaches are culture carriers, people developers, and operational owners.
