Role and Responsibilities: As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations and accurate order fulfillment for our customers and their pets. You will safely operate powered industrial equipment to move, transport, and organize products throughout the facility. Key responsibilities include: • Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and material handling equipment to receive, transport, and stage products. • Move stowed product to various locations using a forklift and other equipment. • Perform warehouse functions including labeling, replenishing, box making, and loading/unloading trailers. • Fulfill and organize orders to ensure efficient and accurate customer delivery processes. • Create accurate shipping documentation for domestic shipments. • Maintain safety standards and protocols while operating equipment and handling materials. Required Skills and Experience: • Must be at least 18 years old. • Willing to be trained on PIT equipment such as Cherry Picker/Order Picker, High Reach, Movexx, Pallet Jack, and Walkie Rider. • Ability to walk up to 2 miles per shift in a warehouse environment. • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds independently. • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds using optional team lift and greater than 70 pounds using team lift. • Ability to stand, push, pull, carry, squat, and kneel throughout the shift. • Ability to climb up and down stairs where applicable.
