Develop and manage the entire scope of project operations deliverables for the Aphrodite Project from FEED to startup and handover, including building in-country business capabilities and aligning with regional teams and government stakeholders.
Significant experience in Phase 5 Operations in upstream/midstream/downstream sectors, FEED engineering development, new country entry/business development, and ability to influence government stakeholders.

Develops, directs and implements the Operations and Maintenance Build for the Aphrodite Project in Cyprus. This is a new country entry, and the position will involve extensive interface with the Project Manager, Country Manager, and EMED/Egypt Teams w.r.t the Operations Build of the offshore facilities, as well the in-country development of our overall business readiness. Cyprus Pre-Operation Manager is responsible for developing and owning the entire scope of Project Operations deliverables for the Aphrodite Project. This role will manage the Operations Build of the project from FEED entry to Start Up and Hand Over to the Phase 5 Operations Team. This role will involve significant effort to build the in-country business capabilities for the Project, as well hire and train the Phase 5 operating staff. The successful candidate will be able to articulate and implement an operating vision and strategy for this developing project, consistent with the established norms in the CVX EMED business segment and drive alignment between all operation in Cyprus, Israel and potentially Egypt. There will also be a need to influence key government stakeholders to align requirements between Cyprus, Israel and potentially Egypt. The candidate will possess significant experience in Phase 5 Operations in either Upstream, Midstream or Downstream operations, Facility / Operations Engineering, the Project Operations Planning (POP) process, as well as experience in MCP Phase 3 FEED engineering development. Experience in new-country entry/business development is highly desirable. THIS ROLE IS PSG 25-26. Special Considerations: In accordance with Israeli immigration regulation, Israel's B1 visa criteria indicated a monthly wage for foreign experts working in Israel for a duration exceeding three months. Commencing Jan 1,2025 the minimum base salary requirement is 24,758 NIS (this will be updated every year). Please reference the average monthly exchange rate and confirm that the base salary (not including CIP, premiums, or other allowances ) will meet this requirement. Furthermore, obtaining an FBI certificate which verifies the absence of a criminal record history is required as part of the immigration procedure.
