The purpose of the HRDP is to provide leadership-asipiring participants with a breadth of exposure to the HR function and to different aspects of the Company's operations to prepare them for future leadership positions.The two-year structured development program consists of four six-month rotational assignments within various corporate and operating company units. The rotational assignments are strategically assigned based on business needs and participant competency development and interests. Rotational assignments are intended to challenge and deepen the participants knowledge of HR and Chevron's businesses; meet career objectives of the participant; and enable business impact. While each program participants experience is unique; participants are typically exposed to the following areas:HR Analyst (Projects and Planning; Workforce Analytics; and/or Strategic Staffing)HR Business Partner (Human Resources Generalist)Total Remuneration (Compensation and Benefits)Employee Relations and/or Labor Relations Global Mobility and Expatriate ManagementTalent Management and Organizational CapabilityOut of four rotations; typically three are completed in the United States and one is completed outside of the United States. The majority of the domestic assignments are completed in the San Francisco Bay Area or Houston. Normally; at least one domestic rotation is completed outside the San Francisco Bay Area or Houston. Additional U.S. locations may include Southern California; Louisiana; Pennsylvania or Mississippi. International assignments typically take place in Angola; Indonesia; Singapore; Thailand; the Philippines or Nigeria.Participants contribute important work to the business and human resources function; experiencing continual growth and development during the rotations; both personally and professionally. Senior HR leaders are involved in participant development while on the program and after the program has been completed.
