Compensation Type: Salary Employment Type: Fixed Term (Fixed Term) FLSA: Exempt Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Position Summary The First Born and More Program Manager oversees the implementation, training, and continuous quality improvement of the First Born® and More (FBM) Model Office under the umbrella of the Early Childhood Center of Excellence (ECCOE) at Santa Fe Community College. This position manages statewide model partner relationships, ensures program fidelity, develops and facilitates professional development, and coordinates operational and administrative functions of the model office. The manager supports both programmatic and training activities that strengthen New Mexico’s early childhood home visiting workforce, ensuring delivery of high-quality, research-based services for families. Duties & Responsibilities • Oversee model partner implementation, manage onboarding, training, and ongoing technical assistance for First Born® and More model partners ensuring fidelity to program standards and license agreements. • Develop, coordinate, and facilitate curriculum and training—both virtual and in-person—for home visitors and supervisors statewide in English and Spanish. • Develop and implement documented processes, procedures, and systems for the First Born® and More model office. • Manages the administration of licensing agreements and invoicing processes for all programs, ensuring compliance and financial accuracy. • Manage program operations including marketing, website maintenance, budgeting, grant reporting, and outreach. • Represent the First Born® and More Model Office and ECCOE at conferences, state meetings, and community events to build and maintain relationships with early childhood stakeholders, agencies, and research partners to advance ECCOE goals.. • Support recruitment and outreach to expand participation in First Born® and More. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Collaborate with contractors who contribute to professional, curriculum development, and website development/maintenance. • Develops and maintains Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) monitoring and data-gathering to enhance program effectiveness and ensure data-driven decision-making. • Supports research and evaluation of the program. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and data. Knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting. Skill in Project Management. Knowledge of grants prospecting, management, and reporting. Knowledge of home visiting services and oversight. Business level knowledge of Microsoft Office and job-related software programs. Skill in decision making and problem solving. Ability to facilitate virtual and in-person training. Ability to communicate effectively and with a high level of emotional intelligence. Ability to communicate and collaborate with a variety of individuals representing different skills, attitudes, and discipline. Ability to represent the First Born® Model Office at public meetings, conferences, and board meetings. Ability to apply Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) to programs and procedures. Knowledge of marketing, public relations, and using media to communicate effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Physical Demands Position requires state-wide travel. Work is typically performed in an office, classroom, or meeting room setting. Limited physical effort required. Condition of Employment: • Must posses and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver’s License Work Hours This position is Hybrid Schedule • Typically, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. May be required to work after hours and/or weekends.
