Chesapeake Search Partners has partners with a rapidly growing advisory firm dedicated to navigating clients through complexity and turning strategies into tangible results, is seeking an ambitious Advisory Manager. This role offers a unique and exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to our firm's growth and success, shaping both our culture and strategy. Role Summary: As an Advisory Manager, you will provide expert accounting and financial consulting services to a broad range of clients in the areas of business transformation and process optimization. You will collaborate directly with clients and internal teams, identifying solutions, managing projects, and delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities: • Provide accounting and finance advisory services, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ERP implementations. • Manage end-to-end client engagements, including scoping projects, setting timelines, executing deliverables, and ensuring client satisfaction. • Act as a trusted advisor, building long-term client relationships. • Assist in shaping internal processes, service offerings, and the overall growth strategy • Collaborate with leadership on business development initiatives, contributing to proposals and client presentations. • Stay informed of industry trends and advise clients on how to improve and optimize accounting and finance operations and provide other valuable recommendations. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • CPA or relevant professional certification is highly preferred. • 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial advisory, or consulting roles. • Experience in ERP systems • Experience in any or all service offerings: financial statement audit readiness & support, business transformation, and transaction advisory • Experience in Internal Controls, SOX, and Internal Audit is preferred. • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills. • Exceptional communication skills, able to clearly convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders. • Comfortable with a dynamic startup environment, adaptable, and proactive. Location and Travel: Candidates must reside in Maryland and have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time to Baltimore and surrounding counties to support client engagements, with the flexibility to work remotely when not onsite.
