POSITION SUMMARY As the Business Systems Analyst, you will become part of a team of highly skilled IT professionals dedicated to supporting the adoption of Microsoft 365 technologies at CHEO. In this role, you will facilitate ongoing improvements, provide continuous support to users, develop and maintain project and system documentation, contribute to enhancing business processes, and engage in ongoing professional development. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Act as subject matter expert for Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and Power Platform. • Design, build, test, document, and deploy custom business applications using Microsoft PowerApps that integrate seamlessly with multiple data sources. • Develop and implement automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and ensure data consistency and accuracy across enterprise systems • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency using Microsoft 365 tools. • Provide Tier 2/3 support for Microsoft 365 issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to clinical and corporate operations. • Configure, test, and deploy Microsoft 365 solutions aligned with organizational requirements and security standards. • Lead upgrade and migration projects, ensuring compliance with healthcare privacy regulations (PHIPA, FIPPA). • Develop governance models for Microsoft 365 usage, including permissions, data retention, subscription optimization, and security policies. • Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications. • Deliver training and documentation to end-users and departmental champions. • Act as liaison between Information Services and business units to ensure alignment of technology solutions with organizational goals. • Support data integrity and interoperability across systems, including integration with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. QUALIFICATIONS • Criminal Record Check (CRC) (Essential) • College Diploma or University Degree in Business or Computer Science program and/or experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance (Essential) • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (Essential) • Take steps to ensure timely completion of tasks by adjusting priorities as required (Essential) • Communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing (Essential) • Deal effectively with internal and external customers (Essential) • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, PowerApps, PowerAutomate and Copilot) (Essential) • Working knowledge of applicable occupational health and safety legislation; general knowledge of corporate/departmental policies and procedures related to health and safety. (Essential) • Comprehensively use computer technology and equipment (Essential) • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 Administration and Certification (Preferred) • Bilingualism (French/English) (Preferred) Effective March 29, 2021, CHEO will conduct a more comprehensive pre-screening and evaluation process.
