Description: Job Summary: Operate one or more machine or special purpose machines to crush and or size raw materials to specifications on production basis by performing the following duties: Duties/Responsibilities: • Lifts materials manually or using forklift to secure in fixture or loads automatic feeding device • Forklift inspection before every shift • Starts machine, engages feed, and observes operation • Inspects and sizes products to verify conformance to specifications • Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine • Replaces worn machine accessories, using hand tools. • Tends machines and equipment other than crushing/grinding equipment • Must be able to manually load 50 lbs. onto pallet • Record and keep accurate records for all production at end of each shift (production report – detailing the day) • Other duties as assigned Requirements: Qualifications/Requirements: • Demonstrates attention to detail • Gathers and analyzes information skillfully Attendance/Punctuality • Is consistently at work on time (example of required hours); ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives at meetings and appointments on time.
