Position Overview The Project Manager supports IT focused programs and projects across the full lifecycle, applying agile methodologies, DoD acquisition frameworks, and industry best practices to ensure successful mission outcomes. The Project Manager supports governance activities, stakeholder engagement, and delivery oversight in a classified DoD environment. This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment is subject to contract award, funding, and the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance. Duties and Responsibilities • Provide program and project management support for IT initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout. • Apply agile frameworks and practices, including sprint planning, backlog management, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives. • Develop and maintain program and project management documentation such as project plans, schedules, risk registers, work breakdown structures, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes. • Support governance activities, including preparation of briefing materials, meeting coordination, note taking, and reporting. • Analyze information from multiple sources to develop recommendations and communicate findings to senior leadership and stakeholders. • Execute duties in accordance with DoD acquisition policies and guidance. • Support IT initiatives leveraging ServiceNow and related enterprise platforms as required. Requirements • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Program/Project Management, Business Management, or a related discipline; or a bachelor's degree may be waived with 10 years of related work experience. • DoD Secret Clearance is required • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required, or 10 years of demonstrated program and/or project management experience in lieu of PMP. • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated program and/or project management experience. • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience using Agile frameworks, including user stories, sprint planning, backlog management, retrospectives, and adaptive delivery. • Minimum 5 years of DoD experience (10 years without a bachelor's degree) . • Minimum 5 years of DoD software development project and program management experience. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and oversee project team activities. • Experience with the following technologies and platforms: Minimum 1-2 years of demonstrated experience using ServiceNow; Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Project and Visio; SharePoint; Adobe Suite Why Join Chartis Federal?
