You’ll partner with HR, IT, and business teams to create seamless solutions for scheduling, timekeeping, leave, and payroll—making work easier and the employee experience exceptional. Key responsibilities: Strategy & Leadership Execute the HR technology strategy and roadmap to achieve short- and long-term business objectives. Lead and coach the HRIS-UKG team, fostering capability and job enrichment. Drive annual improvement priorities and key HR projects at the program level. System Optimization & Governance Champion UKG optimization to enhance shared services processes and user experience. Manage system governance, including change requests, testing, upgrades, and impact analysis. Ensure security, data integrity, and continuity across the UKG platform and broader HR tech ecosystem. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Partner with HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, and vendors to maximize technology value. Translate business needs into technical requirements and negotiate priorities based on resources and functionality. Co-lead HR project intake and prioritization, maintaining feedback loops and resource alignment. Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement Oversee production support, troubleshooting, and resolution of UKG system issues. Maintain project plans, workflows, and documentation for HR tech team and end users. Develop communications and change management materials, including executive presentations. Lead problem-solving techniques to remove roadblocks and manage change implications. Interpret business issues and recommend best practices for process improvement. Maintain security profiles and master data management. Ensure ability to meet essential job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation. What you’ll need: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Information Technology, Business or related degree. Seven plus years’ experience in HR information systems and technology, including experiences in one or a combination of the following: HCM, Payroll, Scheduling, Timekeeping, ERP Systems, HR Analytics, Talent/Learning Management Systems and/or digital transformation. Three plus years of UKG technology experience including configuration design, testing strategies and environment management Three plus years of supervisory experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and non-technical language, formal and informal, based on audience. Excellent negotiation skills aimed at forging solid partnerships with vendor partners Solid understanding of HR processes, how to leverage technology to drive efficiencies and change management strategies. Experience with large-scale systems implementations (i.e. Workday, UKG, etc). Ability to move between strategy and operations, acting as a ‘working manager’ Ability to ideate and/or “push back” in a constructive way with key stakeholders to get alignment of an optimal solution for the overall business enterprise. Experience developing detailed business cases and requirements. Excellent interpersonal communications and consulting skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels Nice to haves: Master’s Degree, MBA, and/or SPHR Certification. Experience with Workday highly preferred. Data architecture and visualization experience preferred.
