Full Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our remote team. In this entry-level role, you will support the QA team by testing software applications, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. This position is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn, have a passion for problem-solving, and want to grow in the field of software quality assurance. Key Responsibilities • Execute manual test cases and document results accurately. • Assist in identifying, analyzing, and reporting software defects. • Work closely with developers, project managers, and senior QA analysts to ensure issues are resolved. • Participate in regression, functional, usability, and smoke testing. • Maintain detailed and organized documentation of test plans, test scripts, and test results. • Provide feedback on application functionality, usability, and performance. • Support the QA team in improving testing methods and processes. • Communicate clearly and proactively with team members in a fully remote environment. Required Qualifications • 0–2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing (internship experience is acceptable). • Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, Azure DevOps, or similar). • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting. • Basic knowledge of web or mobile applications. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) • Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr). • Understanding of API testing or automation tools (e.g., Postman, Selenium). • Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation. • Coursework or certification in QA or software testing (ISTQB, Google QA, etc.).
